Cancellation policy
The short version
You can cancel your Monthly Supporter at any time, by any of three methods, with no fees and no waiting period. Cancellation is effective the moment we receive your request. You are not billed for any subsequent month.
1. What can be cancelled under this policy
This policy covers the Monthly Supporter subscription, an optional recurring monthly product sold by Relief Alliance LLC. One-time purchases (Personalized Prayer Audio, Devotional Downloads) do not require cancellation, because they are delivered immediately and are not on a recurring billing schedule.
2. How to cancel
Any one of the following actions cancels your subscription:
- Click the cancel link inside any of our renewal reminder emails. The link works without a login.
- Reply to any order email with the word "cancel" in the message body. We accept variations such as "please cancel," "I want to cancel," and "no more charges."
- Email support@unitedreliefalliance.org with a request to cancel. Any subject line works, including blank.
3. When cancellation takes effect
Cancellation is effective immediately upon our receipt of your request. We do not run "save the subscription" retention flows. We do not offer alternative discounts to keep you on. We do not require you to give a reason. The next month is not billed.
You retain access to any content already delivered. The MP3 and PDF files you have downloaded remain yours, with no time limit on use.
4. Cancellation confirmation
You receive a confirmation email titled "Your Monthly Supporter has been cancelled" within a few minutes of submitting a cancellation request, regardless of the method you used. The confirmation email includes:
- The exact date and time the cancellation took effect.
- The date of the last successful charge, with the amount.
- A statement that no further charges will be made.
If you do not receive the confirmation email within an hour, please write us at support@unitedreliefalliance.org so we can verify the cancellation manually.
5. Cancellation and refunds
If your cancellation request arrives within 3 days of your most recent renewal charge, we refund the most recent renewal in full as a courtesy. This is in addition to the standard 14-day refund window described in our refund policy.
If your cancellation arrives more than 3 days after the most recent renewal, the cancellation takes effect immediately but the most recent renewal is not automatically refunded. You may still request a refund of any charge inside the 14-day refund window by writing to us.
6. Renewal reminders
Three days before each renewal charge, we send a reminder email titled "Your Monthly Supporter renews in 3 days." This email contains:
- The exact date the next charge will occur.
- The exact amount of the next charge.
- A single-click cancellation link.
- The customer support address.
If you cancel before the renewal date, the upcoming renewal does not occur. If you allow the renewal to proceed and then change your mind, the renewal charge is still inside the 14-day refund window and is fully refundable on request.
7. Changes to the cancellation policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always available at https://www.unitedreliefalliance.org/cancellation-policy. If we make a material change that reduces your rights as a subscriber, we will email all active subscribers at least 14 days in advance, with the option to cancel before the change takes effect.
